This was supposed to be day one of an epic 5 day museum and roadside attraction roadtrip with my partner.

Instead i threw out my lower back loading truck parts yesterday and instead am at urgent care due to the pain.

Hopefully it isn’t anything serious, and i can salvage some of the vacation.

you need to see your GP, do some stretches

it’ll take a while to kick in, but they are effective.

Been stretching icing and heating since i did it last night. Unfortunately it hasn’t helped and the pain has gotten worse .

it’ll take at leas t a couple of weeks for the stretching to start working.

well, it did for me.

icing and heating won’t do much, better off trying to walk around

My oral surgeon put me under a new pain protocol after some work recently. It was based on recent research using acetaminophen and ibuprofen in combination instead of opiods. It worked. It might help you.

That’s awful.  I hope you’re able to still enjoy your vacation time.

Hopefully you can salvage some time for sure. I was recently layed up for two days by back pain that I’m almost ashamed to admit was brought on by weeding. Yep, I’m getting old.

One thing that really helps me is an at home TENS device. I bought a cheap one a few years ago because I was skeptical about whether or not it would help, but it is great. Now I find myself debating buying new pads to replace the ones that have lost their stickiness or getting a nicer unit.

This is the newer version of what I use. It appears that my unit is discontinued.

Back pain always sucks, as I’m sure you know. I hope you feel better soon.
